Simpson-Besett Collaborative Planet
2 1/2 " Diameter
Signed: Simpson and Besett 08
For over a decade now, Harry and Wendy Besett have been encasing their Magical enamel landscapes in glass. It seemed a logical step, especially since Harry apprenticed with josh ...back when the dinosaurs were being grilled for company picnics.... to partially cover and encase some planets. Josh's planets are handpicked for embellishing. Once passing the test, planets travel up to the Besett's studio in Northern Vermont where they are encased in glass, partially enamel- covered with Wendy's fine touch to add a sense of local space to outer space (or undersea, as the case may be), then the piece is encased once again, of course, being ground and polished to a fine finish. The resulting "small wonder" is a special world like you have never seen before. Wendy says: "Each is one of a kind; some are one of a never-again!"
Includes a 1.25 x 1.25 x 1.25"H" dimple acrylic stand.
